Parking at the Selkirk Lodge: Only requirement is the WA Snow Park Pass for the Group Health / Providence Health Care Challenge


Friday, February 22:
12:00 noon: Registration closes. Late registration is available for an extra fee

1:00-4:00 pm: Snow-park passes available at venue

2:00-4:00 pm: Course open for preview

7:00-8:00 pm: Team Captains’ Meeting

          To be held at Travel Lodge, 33 W. Spokane Falls Blvd, Spokane


Saturday, February 23:

7:00 am: Volunteer Check-in

7:30-8:00: On-site registration (for an additional $25 fee) for senior and master skiers only. Lollipoppers please sign release at the registration table

7:30-9:00: On site number pick up for all skiers

9:20: 5 K course closes, forerunners start

9:30: J-2 Males race 5 K mass start classic

9:35: J-2 Females race 5 K mass start classic

9:50: Course closes, forerunners start

10:00: J1/OJ Males race 10 K mass start classic

10:05: J1/OJ Female race 10 K mass start classic

10:30: Senior/Master Males race 10 K mass start classic

10:35: Senior/Master Females race 10 K mass start classic

11:30:  J-3 Males race 3 K mass start classic

11:35:  J-3 Females race 3 K mass start classic

11:40:  J-4 Males race 3 K mass start classic

11:45:  J-4 Females race 3 K mass start classic

12:00: J-5 and younger males race 1 K mass start classic

12:10: J-5 and younger females race 1 K mass start classic


Free Soup to all paid racers. Suggested donation for all non-paid participants and family members.


To Follow:  Awards to be held at the Selkirk Lodge for Classic race and Selkirk Challenge.

7:00 pm: Team Captains’ Meeting @ Travel Lodge *Start list to be distributed at Coaches' meeting.


Sunday, February 24:

7:00: volunteer check-in

7:30-9:00: on site bib pick-up for all skiers

8:50:  5 K course closes, forerunners start
9:00:  J-2 males race 5 K start freestyle
9:20:  J-2 female race 5 K start freestyle
9:40:  J1/OJ males race 10 K start freestyle
10:00:  J1/OJ females race 10K start freestyle
10:20:  Senior/Master males 15 K race start freestyle
10:40:  Senior/Master females 10 K race start freestyle
11:30:  J-3 males and females 3 K race start freestyle
11:50:  J-4 males and females 3 K race start freestyle
12:15:  J-5 and younger males 1 K start freestyle
12:30:  J-5 and younger females 1 K start freestyle
12:45:  Lollipop Race: Non-timed race for kids 6 years and under.
