The 43rd annual Langlauf 10km ski race will be held at the Mt. Spokane Cross-Country Ski Park. This is an event for all skill and fitness levels and all ages. Children 10 and under ski free with a paid adult and there are 2 categories for Adaptive skiers: Sit Ski and Visually impaired. Compete for the Woolies and Woodies prize by dressing in traditional Woolen Nordic garb and skiing on wooden skis. Must finish in 2 hours or less for results. Get there early and you can have the wax pros from Fitness Fanatics apply the wax of the day to your skis for free.

Langlauf features over $6,000 in prizes donated by sponsors and given out in a random drawing of bib #. Racers also get fresh rolls from Great Harvest for lunch. Plus morning treats from Rocket Bakery, hot apple cider from Walters Fruit Ranch, and fresh coffee from Tom Sawyer Country Coffee.

 

Proceeds benefit Spokane Nordic Youth Ski Team and ski trail maintenance and development.
